The long-term service temperature of the crosslinked polyethylene tube is -40 ~ 125℃, and the short-term service temperature can reach 150℃. Therefore, it is widely used in the connection and protection of wire and cable, chemical pipeline, instrument protection and household appliances. 

When the thermal shrinkage materials prepared by polyolefin polymers cannot meet the requirements of customers, they are generally blended with other polymers based on PE. For example, PE and EDPM(epDM) are blended to make outdoor cable bushing with high strength and aging resistance, PE and polyolefin + additives to make stress tube with high dielectric constant and low volume resistivity, etc.
